Following Smallville's Comic-Con panel, executive producers told TVGuide.com that Lois and Clark's relationship is going to take a new direction this season. "Lois and Clark will be working side by side at The Daily Planet, and Lois will start to see Clark in a different way," they said. "She's surprised to see him in a suit, all grown up and handsome. It's no longer going to be played like a brother-sister relationship." Behind-the-scenes changes are to come too: Comic writer Geoff Johns will be writing a Legion of Superheroes episode of the show and Justin Hartley says that the show will be exploring the origin of the Green Arrow. Exec producer Brian Peterson made no comment on the "no flights" restriction...

The Dark Knight is unstoppable
According to Superhero Hype, The Dark Knight earnt a massive $23.2 million on its second Friday, a week after being released. This puts the gargantuan total at a record breaking $261.8 million!

According to Comingsoon.net, DreamWorks Animations CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg has said that George Lucas is looking to repurpose the six Star Wars episodes into 3D format.
Katzenberg told Comingsoon.net that Lucas is very excited about it and that he's got the technical resources to pull it off. "He isn't going to put a product out, I think, that isn't anything other than first rate," Katzenberg said

Watchmen get animated
To get non-fans up to speed on the world of Watchmen, Warner Brothers have produced a digital animated version of the legendary comic in the run up to the release of the Watchmen Movie next March. Chapter 1 is free to watch here
Doomsday for Smallville?
With Michael Rosenbaum leaving Smallville, fans may be wondering who will be filling Lex Luthor’s rather evil shaped shoes in the new series. The answer comes in the form of Doomsday, a Kryptonite-infused super-villain who, when not troubling Clark Kent, will spend his nights working as a bartender at hip Metropolis bar Ace of Clubs! Doomsday will be played by Sam Witwer who is best known for his role as Alex 'Crashdown' Quartararo on Battlestar Galactica.

The Dark Knight, the long-awaited Batman sequel from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, sold $155.3 million in tickets in the US this weekend, according to early estimates from its distributor! Setting a record for biggest three-day box office take, this tops the previous top weekend of $218 million set by the opening of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest two years ago. Not that Bruce Wayne needs any more cash...

Bay out for (Camp) Blood
Transformers director Michael Bay has promised that the Friday The 13th remake will be faithful to the original 1980 film. The movie, which was recently wrapped in Austin, Texas, includes plots from the first two films in the horror franchise. Bay excitedly talked about one of the film's surprises to Entertainment Weekly, saying: "You’re just not going to believe the first 12 minutes! It’s a twist in itself."

Exterminators to bug TV Screens
TV Channel Showtime is working with Dexter executive producer Sara Colleton to bring comic book series The Exterminators to television, says The Hollywood Reporter. Exterminator creators Simon Oliver and Tony Moore originally pitched the story about a group of eccentrics working for a pest-control company as a TV series but it was a comic-book publisher who picked it up in the end. Showtime has not yet set a timetable for the show's debut.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Helena Bonham Carter is in talks to play a major character in Terminator Salvation. The film also stars Christian Bale as John Connor, Anton Yelchin as Kyle Reese, Charlotte Gainsbourg as Kate Connor and Moon Bloodgood as Blair Williams.
The reaction is strong with this one
There’s has been a great critical reception for the first screening of Clone Wars, the new Star Wars CGI-animated series. which comes to Cartoon Network this Autumn. James Hibberd at the Hollywood Reporter calls it “firmly impressive.” The Los Angeles Times’ Denise Martin says it “bests the traditionally animated mini-episodes (of the same title) that preceded it in terms of visuals alone.” Will Harris at Premium Hollywood calls it “awesome.”
Mckellen: No longer a free man
Six Of One, the official appreciation society for TV series “The Prisoner,” has announced that Ian McKellen will star as Number Two opposite Jim Caviezel’s Number Six in an upcoming ITV/AMC miniseries remake. Other details from Six of One confirmed in Variety are that six episodes will be produced to air next year, shoots will be on location in Namibia and South Africa and the remake will be written by Bill Gallagher, who penned the BBC’s “Conviction.”
Stotlz is still ‘Killing Zoe’
Eric Stoltz will star as Daniel Graystone, a computer genius and inventor whose daughter Zoe is killed due to her boyfriend's religious fanaticism in Battlestar Galactica spin-off Caprica according to E! Online. Set 50 years prior to the events seen in Battlestar Galactica, Caprica will focus on the creation of the first Cylons. Executive producer Remi Aubuchon told TV Guide, "Caprica is a sweeping, highly emotional relationship drama — a Rich Man, Poor Man set in a science-fiction environment. The look is nostalgic, almost 1950s, with the men in hats, ties and stylish suits. It's not about hardware and space battles." In the new series, Stoltz inputs Zoe’s DNA and elements of her personality into a robotic body. The robot, known as Zoe-R, is the first Cylon ever created.
