For US Entrants:
No purchase to necessary to win. Limit of one entry per person, multiple entries will be rejected.
Timing: Contest begins on July 14, 2008 and ends on August 10, 2008.
Eligibility: The Contests is open only to legal residents of the U.S. (except in the state of Florida and Puerto Rico and where otherwise prohibited by law or regulation) who are at least 13 years of age. DO NOT ENTER IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE. Void where prohibited. Employees of Titan Publishing Group Ltd. and respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotional agencies and their immediate family members (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings and grandparents) and/or persons living in the same household are not eligible.
Selection and Notification of Winners; Odds of Winning: Contests winners will be selected from a random draw held on August 11, 2008, from among all the eligible entries received. A separate winner will be selected for each of the six different Contests. All six winners will be drawn at random. This decision is final and no discussion will be entered into. Titan Books is the recognized promoter of the Contests. Winners will be notified by email. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Winners will have their prizes sent within 28 days of the draw, with the exception of The Sprit and Watchmen Movie prizes (these prizes will be sent within 28 days of the relevant books’ publication dates). The winner of the Tank Girl contest will have their name featured in a future comic at the author’s timing and discretion. The winner will be notified of the detail of this.
Prizes: Prizes (in total) and approximate retail values (a.r.v.): $2200. Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value in case of prize unavailability.
Only one prize per family, household or address. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except as provided herein. All federal/state/local taxes are the sole responsibility of prize winners. All federal/state/local laws and regulations apply.
Each potential prize winner must execute and return to Titan Books an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release/Prize Acceptance Form within 15 days of notification. Non-compliance/return of prize notification as undeliverable or failure to execute and return the above documents to Titan Books within 15 days of notification will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from among all eligible entries received. Three (3) alternate drawings will be held after which any unawarded prizes will remain unawarded.
Release: By participating, entrants, (or, if a minor 13 years or older, the entrant’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s)) hereby agree to release and hold harmless Promoter s, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or promotion from any and all claims, responsibility, suits, damages, losses or injuries, including third party, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this Contests, including entry and participation in this Contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes. All entrants (or, if a minor 13 years or older, the entrant’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s)) further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this Contests, they will indemnify Promoter from any and all such claims, including the attorney’s fees related thereto.
Limitation of Liability: Neither Promoter or any affiliates shall be liable for: (1) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information or late, lost, stolen, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, or postage due entries, or entries received through impermissible or illegitimate channels, all of which will be disqualified; (2) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any telephone, computer, network, hardware or software; (3) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service; (4) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (5) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to entrant's computer, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Promotion or from downloading any material from Promoter's or Promoters' Web site(s), regardless of whether the material was prepared by Promoter, Promoter, or a third party, and regardless of whether the material is connected to Promoter's or Promoter's Web site by a hypertext link.
Disqualification: Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it reasonably believes to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage Promoter's or any Promoter's Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, Promoter and Promoters reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Miscellaneous Rules: The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contests should causes beyond its control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contests. The Promoter further reserves the right to modify the rules of the Contests at any time.
This Contests shall be governed by New York law. By participating in this Contests, entrants agree that New York courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Contests and that venue shall be only in New York.
All entries and materials, and the information contained therein (including, without limitation, name and address) submitted become the property of Promoter and will not be acknowledged or returned. The Promoter may use this information for and to offer you other products, programs or services that we believe may be of interest to you. We sometimes use this information to communicate with you, such as to notify you when you have won one of our contests or when we make changes to our subscriber agreements, to fulfil a request by you for an online newsletter, or to contact you about your account with us.
Acceptance of prizes constitutes consent to use winners’ names and likenesses for editorial, advertising, publicity and television broadcast purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
By entering this Contest all entrants agree that Promoter has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from the Contest and its determination of the winners and all other issues is final. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decision of the judges, which are final.
Promoter's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Special Note about Children: The Contests and other sign up services offered on this Site are not available to anyone under the age of 13. No personally identifiable information will be collected from children under the age of 13.

Titan Books free prize draws are open to residents of the United Kingdom, Eire, and the Channel Islands, except employees of the Titan Entertainment Group and anyone else connected with the free prize draws and their families. Entries must not be sent in through agents or third parties. Any such entries will be invalid. Winners will be drawn at random after the closing date. A separate winner will be selected for each of the six different Competitions. All six winners will be drawn at random. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost or damaged in the post, and no entries can be returned. Prizes are as stated, and no alternatives can be offered. However, if in circumstances beyond our control, the gift offered is unavailable, an alternative and equivalent gift will be sought. Prizes are non-transferable. Titan Books is not liable for any travel costs, spending money, insurance or any other costs associated with a Prize unless otherwise stated. All entrants are bound by the rules. All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry and be resident in the UK. The eligibility of any entrant is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
